What is the advantage of Personality Evaluations?

Personality Evaluations are a great tool to match the puppy’s individual personality to their families lifestyle.

  Starting at 5 weeks of age and continuing until pups are ready to go home at 8 weeks, we evaluate each puppies personality using six different tests. We do this 3 days each week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 

        We compile each puppies results and send out Personality Tendency Profiles two days before puppies are chosen and go to their new home. 

Our clients review each puppies profile so they know before they come to choose their puppy which pups to consider and most important which puppies within a litter don't fit their lifestyle.

What are my options for Deposit?

Deposits can be made with:

1. A personal check to Whispering Pines sent to 14694-200th St., Milaca, MN 56353. 

2. PayPal (Charges a 3.135% fee, sometimes friends and family works to save you this.) by using our email address: whisperingpineslabs@outlook.com. 

3. Cash

​Can I put my deposit on a specific litter?

Deposits are by color and gender not by a specific litter. We offer pups in order of Deposit received.  If we get to your name on a specific litter and it is not a good fit or timing is not right, you have the option of having your deposit returned or waiting for a future litter.

When will I know if I will be offered a puppy from a litter?

After puppies are born, we will know the number, color, and gender.  Next, we start going down the Deposit list for that specific color/gender. 

We will call you and send you a birth announcement :)  letting you know that the pups were born and the date they will be ready to go to your home. You will be asked to respond to that birth announcement confirming you want a puppy from the litter.  You may decline a pup from a litter if you feel it will not be a good fit or the timing is not good.  This process may take a few weeks, but feel free to email or call and check in.

What is your availability?

We provide Anticipated Availability. This is based on our Deposit List and our female’s expected cycles.

Actual Availability depends on the following….

1. When Moms cycle…. This can range from 6-10 month intervals.

2. Number of puppies within a litter…Moms give us anywhere from 2 to 12 puppies.

3. Gender mix….Litters can consist of all but 1 or 2 of either gender.

4. How many of the folks ahead of you on our Deposit List are ready or want a puppy from a particular litter.
