Our Puppies

Whispering Pines Family Kennel is dedicated to providing quality Labrador Retriever puppies for sale in Minnesota.  We raise the traditional Black and the variations of the Yellow: Fox Red, Traditional Yellow and Ivory. Below you will find information on current litters and upcoming litters.  All our puppies are AKC Registered.  Our parent dogs are easy-going, quiet, and gentle.  We strive for a “light switch personality” in our breeding program so our dogs are good citizens in your home but will hunt for you in the field.  Our puppies have been placed in homes of children with Autism, trained to be therapy dogs, hunting dogs, diabetic detection dogs, and great family companions. We name the puppies but you can name them whatever you like. We do it just for fun and don't call them by name when we are working with them.

We are NOT accepting deposits for puppies at this time as we do not expect availability until late 2026 into 2027.  We can add you the list to contact when we start taking deposits.

Fritz

Sir Fritz (Dad)

Sir Fritz, named after a special dog Mary Jo grew up with, is a very easy-going, very loving, laid-back boy.  His favorite place to hang out is to be lying on the floor within ear shot of us.  We especially appreciate Fritz's light switch personality.  Even though he is laid back, he turns it on big time when we bring out something for him to fetch. Strong Retrieving Drive.  He is such a fun dog to be with.  We refer to his light yellow coat color as Sugar Cookie.  Fritz weighs 85# and is 23" tall at the shoulder.  Activity Score of 6 with quite high retrieving drive.
